Terms of service

The rules for using the ZoPanel website, customer account and store: who we are, how purchases, licenses, payments and support work.

Draft — to be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.

These terms apply to the ZoPanel website, the customer account at /account, and every purchase of a ZoPanel license. The software itself is covered by the End-user license agreement. Personal data is covered by the Privacy policy.

Who we are

The website and the store are operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS] ("ZoPanel", "we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you act for a company, you confirm that you may bind it, and "you" means that company.

Your account

  • You need a customer account to buy a license, manage your licenses and open support tickets.
  • Give a valid e-mail address and keep it current. We send licenses, receipts, password resets and important notices there.
  • Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what is done through your account. Tell us at once through a support ticket if you think someone else has access to it.
  • We may suspend an account that is used for fraud, abuse of the service or a breach of these terms.

Plans and licenses

  • Free plan. ZoPanel can be installed and used without payment, with every hosting feature, for up to 10 websites and 10 databases on one server.
  • Paid plans. Paid plans remove those limits and add reseller accounts, the provisioning API and billing modules (WHMCS, Blesta, HostBill, Paymenter), encrypted remote S3 backups and multiple PHP versions. Current plans and prices are shown on the pricing page. Prices may change; a change never affects an order already paid.
  • One license per server. Each license runs one server. You can move it to another server from your customer account three times a year; further moves can be requested through support.
  • Yearly licenses run for the period shown at purchase. When a yearly license ends and is not renewed, the panel returns to the Free plan's limits. Websites keep running and nothing is deleted.
  • Lifetime licenses are paid once and do not expire.

Orders and payment

  • Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency of the payment method. Taxes, if any apply, are shown at checkout.
  • We accept cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through OnePay, and PayPal. Payments are processed by these providers; we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • A license is issued and e-mailed to you as soon as the payment is confirmed. It also appears in your customer account.
  • If a payment is reversed or found to be fraudulent, the license bought with it may be suspended.
  • Refunds follow the Refund policy.

Support

Support is provided through tickets in your customer account or the support page. We aim to answer within one business day. Lifetime licenses include priority support for the first year. Support covers ZoPanel itself; it does not include building or repairing your customers' websites.

Acceptable use

You may not use the website or the store to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone else's rights;
  • attack, overload or probe our systems, except under the rules of our Security policy;
  • buy licenses with stolen payment details, or resell license keys outside an agreement with us;
  • send spam or malicious content through our forms or tickets.

Content on the website

Documentation, articles and other content on the website are provided for information. We try to keep them accurate, but measurements such as capacity figures depend on hardware, software and workload, and your results may differ. The ZoPanel name and logo are ours; please do not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you without our written permission.

Disclaimers and liability

The website and the store are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the website or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for the license concerned in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Material changes are announced by e-mail or on the website before they take effect. Orders are governed by the terms in force when they were placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW]. Disputes are subject to the courts named under that law, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country.
